IT Support helpdesk – Full Time | Essex

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing first-line and second-line IT support via phone, remote access, and on-site visits
  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and software issues (primarily Windows & Microsoft Office)
  • Assisting with desktop installations at client sites
  • Supporting small business clients across Essex – independent travel will be required

Essential Skills / Knowledge

  • Some hands-on experience troubleshooting IT issues (home, academic, or professional)
  • Confident using Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Comfortable speaking with customers both on the phone and in person

Desirable (Not Essential) Skills

  • Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, IP addresses)
  • Familiarity with PC hardware, building PCs, or virtual machines
  • Experience troubleshooting printers/scanners
  • Full UK driving licence and your own car

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Full-time role (core hours between 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday – exact working hours to be agreed)
