Project Coordinator/ scheduler
Project Coordinator The Role
We don’t have a talent problem; we have a "flow" problem. We need a Project Coordinator to act as the central nervous system of our engineering team. You aren’t fixing servers - you’re ensuring the engineers who do have everything they need to succeed.
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, you are the gatekeeper of readiness. If a project isn't scoped, approved, or sequenced, it doesn't hit the schedule. You protect our capacity, kill the chaos, and ensure "planned work" actually stays planned.
What You’ll Own- Gatekeeping: Challenging incomplete work packages. If it’s not ready, it doesn’t move.
- Scheduling: Mapping dependencies and sequencing work to prevent engineer burnout and "heroics."
- Communication: Acting as the bridge between Sales, Design, and Engineering to ensure seamless handovers.
- Visibility: Tracking every milestone in Autotask (or similar) and flagging risks before they become fires.
- The Orchestrator: Proven experience in project/ops coordination within an IT or MSP environment.
- Assertive & Professional: Comfortable saying "no" to a Senior Engineer or Sales Lead if the groundwork isn't laid.
- Methodical: You live for structure, detail, and "getting it right the first time."
- Tech-Adjacent: You Speak "IT" - you understand Change Control, Cloud Migrations, and Support Tiers.
- Clarity over Chaos: Work in an environment that values standards and predictability.
- The Package: £30-40k + Profit Share + Private Medical.
- Flexibility: 33 days holiday (inc. banks) and genuine WFH/flexible hour options
