Salary: up to £50k + bonus

The business operates with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset, ideas move quickly from concept to implementation, and individuals are trusted to take ownership and make meaningful impact from day one.
As the company continues to scale, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Design to define and lead their design vision.
The Role
This is a founding Head of Design role with full ownership of how the brand and digital experience are defined as the business grows.
The role spans four key design domains:
- UX/UI and digital product experience across the company’s website and digital ecosystem
- Brand systems and visual identity, ensuring a clear, premium and consistent market presence
- Commercial design, including investor materials, campaign assets and sales collateral
- Event and experience design, shaping the visual identity of flagship global summits and executive convenings
You will define how the company shows up across every touchpoint, from digital journeys and brand positioning through to commercial materials and real-world event environments.
This is not a role focused on incremental optimisation. It is an opportunity to build a design function from first principles, establishing the systems, standards and creative direction that will support the company’s next stage of growth.
Working closely with leadership, you will operate in an agile environment where design ideas can be implemented quickly, allowing you to see the immediate impact of your work across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Define the Design Standard
- Establish a scalable brand system and design framework across the organisation
- Create design principles and governance to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints
- Ensure the company presents a confident and premium market presence
Own the Digital Experience
- Lead UX/UI design across the company’s website and digital ecosystem
- Improve conversion across tickets, partnerships and accelerator programmes
- Translate strategic goals into intuitive and high-performing user journeys
Build Commercial Credibility
- Design investor materials, sales decks and campaign assets that support commercial growth
- Ensure visual storytelling strengthens positioning, pricing power and market authority
Shape Event and Experience Design
- Define the visual identity and design language of flagship global summits and executive gatherings
- Ensure cohesion between the digital experience and real-world environments
Build the Function
- Establish design processes, tools and best practices as the business scales
- Collaborate closely with marketing, commercial and leadership teams
- Over time, build and develop the design capability within the organisation
About You
- 4–6 years’ experience in UX/UI, product design or brand design
- Currently working as a Senior Product Designer, Design Lead or similar and ready to step into a leadership role
- Strong experience working across digital products and brand systems
- Highly proficient in tools such as Figma and comfortable designing for modern web environments
- A systems thinker, able to build scalable design frameworks rather than just individual assets
- Commercially aware, understanding how design drives engagement, positioning and conversion
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments where ownership and initiative are valued
