About the role

A leading global B2B information business is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing strategy and delivery across a portfolio of high-value subscription products.

This is a senior, hands-on role managing two marketers and driving growth, engagement, and retention across a large international subscriber base. You will oversee everything from automation strategy to performance analysis, working closely with sales and product to improve renewals, drive new business, and shape customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end subscription marketing strategy across acquisition, engagement, and renewal.
  • Manage and develop a small team (one Senior Executive and one Executive).
  • Collaborate with sales, data, and product teams to improve lead flow, retention, and customer experience.
  • Oversee automated workflows and email campaigns through HubSpot, ensuring effective integration with Salesforce.
  • Use analytics tools including Google Analytics, Piano, Power BI, and Excel to measure performance and optimise campaigns.
  • Partner with client engagement and sales to monitor usage, reduce churn, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Build and refine content, website copy, and sales collateral to communicate product value and key USPs.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and engagement metrics.

Experience and skills

  • Minimum of five years' experience in B2B subscription or membership marketing, ideally within data, publishing, or SaaS-style businesses.
  • Demonstrable success in running renewal and acquisition campaigns.
  • Advanced experience with HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • A proactive, innovative marketer who enjoys autonomy and is confident challenging established processes.

What's on offer

  • Opportunity to join a respected global organisation with a strong reputation in data and content.
  • Full ownership of the subscription marketing strategy for a leading portfolio.
  • Work with best-in-class marketing technology including HubSpot, Salesforce, and Piano.
  • Collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values innovation and results.
  • Hybrid working model: three days in the London office, two remote.
