Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Develop and maintain energy consumption models for data center operations.
2. Conduct quantitative analysis to forecast energy usage and identify efficiency opportunities.
3. Validate energy savings from implemented initiatives and report on performance metrics.
4. Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and sustainability teams to gather and analyze energy-related data.
5. Document processes, assumptions, and findings using Confluence and Visio.
6. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards in Excel to support decision-making and regulatory reporting.
7. Support the development of business cases for energy efficiency investments.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Strong background in energy modeling, data analysis, or sustainability analytics.
2. Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization.
3. Experience with Confluence and Visio for documentation and process mapping.
4. Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable insights.
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Experience working in data center environments or with facilities management teams.
2. Familiarity with energy efficiency standards or Net Zero frameworks.
