We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled GDPR Data Remediation Analyst to join their Wealth & Investment management client in London.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
We are seeking an experienced GDPR Data Remediation Analyst with strong Advent APX/Advent Moxy platform knowledge to support the assessment and remediation of historical client data.The successful candidate will combine practical GDPR/data remediation experience with a strong understanding of the APX/Advent Moxy platform and wealth management data.

• Review and assess historical client data against our clients GDPR data retention policy.
• Analyse client populations extracted from Advent APX/Advent Moxy and DSA.
• Understand how client, account, portfolio, and historical records are structured within APX.
• Categorise records into:
• o Full deletion
• o Partial deletion
• o Continued retention
• o Exception/further investigation
• Apply GDPR and data retention principles to the assessment of client records.
• Identify records requiring business, regulatory, legal, or operational review.
• Work with our clients stakeholders to resolve exceptions and ambiguous cases.
• Maintain a clear and auditable record of remediation decisions.
• Perform data quality, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Support approved data deletion and remediation activities.
• Work within the agreed maker/checker control framework.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts of remediation activity within APX.
• Support the assessment of data held across associated file Servers and repositories.
• Contribute to Phase 2 effort estimates and resource planning.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong hands-on experience with Advent APX/Advent Moxy.
• Experience working with APX within a wealth management, investment management, or financial services environment.
• Previous experience in GDPR, data remediation, data governance, data quality, records management, or similar.
• Strong understanding of GDPR data retention and data minimisation principles.
• Experience working with sensitive or regulated client data.
• Ability to analyse and categorise large volumes of client records.
• Understanding of wealth management client, account, and portfolio data.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain an auditable decision trail.
• Experience working within controlled environments and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to work effectively within a maker/checker model.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

• Previous experience delivering GDPR data remediation or deletion programmes.
• Experience with DSA or other wealth management platforms.
• Experience with data extraction, migration, cleansing, or transformation.
• Experience working with file Servers and document repositories.
• Previous experience within a regulated wealth management organisation.
