Infrastructure Project Manager
Day Rate- Outside IR35 600-650 a day
We are supporting a large, prestigious City law firm with an urgent requirement for a senior Infrastructure Project manager with a back ground in Platform/ Infrastrucutre Engineering to help support and enhance a global, highly resilient technology estate.
The firm operates at significant scale, with 3,000 staff across 51 offices worldwide, underpinned by a robust infrastructure supporting a $3bn global business. This role sits within a mature, enterprise IT environment where stability, security, and performance are critical.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and enhance a global, resilient infrastructure platform in a regulated, professional services environment
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across core systems
• Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
• Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver reliable outcomes
• Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives, upgrades, and optimisation
• Operate effectively in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
Required Experience
• Strong background in enterprise infrastructure engineering (law firm or professional services experience highly desirable)
• Proven experience supporting global, multi-site environments
• Deep technical expertise across core infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, networking, cloud/hybrid environments)
• Strong focus on resilience, uptime, and operational excellence
• Able to start immediately or at very short notice
• Comfortable working 3 days per week onsite in the City (this is not flexible)
