We are looking for an experienced Signalling Design Engineer to join a telecoms design team responsible for the evolution and delivery of core voice signalling solutions.
Reporting to the Subscriber Management and Signalling Engineering Manager, you will support the design and delivery of signalling changes across core voice network platforms. You will produce high and low level design documentation, support service design across IP STP, DSC (DRA/DEA), IMS and Legacy voice core nodes, and ensure solutions meet customer, security and performance requirements.
You will also contribute to capacity planning, network modelling, vendor engagement and network evolution initiatives, as well as support the development of automated testing for 5G SA and Legacy call flows.
Key experience required:
Strong background in mobile core networks (2G, 3G, 4G and IMS)
Experience with signalling protocols including SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, Diameter and MAP
Understanding of networking principles, traffic engineering and switching
Experience producing HLD/LLD designs and working with vendors
We are looking for a self-motivated engineer with strong analytical and communication skills, able to work independently while collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders.
