Company Introduction
A major British multinational banking and financial services institution based in the north of England.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Design, develop and maintain automation solutions for database operations and rollout activities
2.Build and integrate APIs for database management operations and automation workflows
3.Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues across Scripting, APIs, and containerised environments
4.Containerise and deploy applications and services using Docker and Kubernetes

Required Skills/Experience
1.Hands-on experience with API development using Python and FastAPI
2.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
3.Solid experience with Python development in production environments
4.Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker

Desirable Skills/Experience
1.Experience enhancing observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
2.Knowledge of enterprise tools such as Control-M, TrueSight, Guardium, Tenable Nessus, or Delinea
3.Understanding of security practices and software development within highly regulated environments
4.End-to-end experience with CI/CD pipelines including build, test, and deployment processes
