Contract - 3 Month Initial Contract

SAP HCM/Payroll Senior Developer needed to provide technical leadership in a major global payroll transformation programme, consolidating payroll systems into a single SAP-based solution alongside SAP S/4HANA and wider HR transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll and a strong understanding of business processes and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and support SAP HCM Payroll solutions using ABAP.
• Develop custom payroll programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements and reconciliation tools.
• Support payroll integrations, data extraction and reporting requirements.
• Develop custom wage type processing solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP Payroll, including Schemas, PCRs, Wage Types, Functions and Operations.
• Support payroll troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis.
• Analyse payroll clusters and payroll results.
• Support payroll controls, compliance, testing and reconciliation.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression and parallel payroll testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• SAP HCM experience with strong SAP NPO Payroll expertise.
• Strong ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP Payroll configuration experience.
• Proven experience with end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll implementations.
• Experience delivering payroll across multiple countries/regions.
• Strong knowledge of Schemas, PCRs, Wage Types, Functions and Operations.
• Strong ABAP debugging and payroll troubleshooting experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Complex international and multi-country payroll experience.
• Multi-currency and exchange-rate payroll experience.
• SAP S/4HANA experience
