Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Design, deploy, and operate Splunk Enterprise and ITSI within hybrid Kubernetes and OpenShift environments
2.Onboard and manage large-scale data ingestion using HEC, Universal Forwarders, and Deployment Serve
3.Align data models to CIM standards and implement RBAC, retention policies, and cost controls
4.Develop ITSI service decompositions, KPIs, thresholds, NEAP policies, and service health scorin
Required Skills/Experience
1.Strong expertise in Splunk Enterprise including SPL, CIM, RBAC, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
2.Hands-on experience with Splunk ITSI including service trees, KPIs, thresholds, and visualisation tools
3.Deep understanding of Kubernetes and OpenShift observability including cluster metrics, logs, and event correlation
4.Experience with modern data pipelines and telemetry tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Fluentd/Fluent Bit, Vector, and Kafka
Desirable Skills/Experience
1.Candidates should be comfortable working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex infrastructure
2.The position requires onsite presence in London three days per week
3.This role requires candidates to work via PAYE through an umbrella company
4.Proven ability to implement automation, integrations, and operational workflows across monitoring and incident management tools
