Rate: £560-£589 a day

We're supporting a confidential client delivering a major infrastructure transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in building a modern internal hosting platform using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, helping to deliver a strategic platform that will underpin future infrastructure services.

What you'll be doing

• Support the build and deployment of a new enterprise hosting platform.
• Work alongside architects, engineers and delivery teams to accelerate platform delivery.
• Contribute hands-on engineering expertise within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Help modernise infrastructure through platform engineering best practices.
• Deliver high-quality solutions with minimal ramp-up time.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Excellent Kubernetes expertise.
• Proven platform engineering or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise platforms.
• Ability to work independently within complex technical environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Ansible.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Experience delivering infrastructure transformation or platform modernisation programmes.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
