Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Tableau Developer to join their team for a contract until the end of June 2026.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing interactive dashboards, optimizing data visualizations, and enabling data-driven decision-making across business units. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
  • Ensure visualizations are intuitive, performant, and aligned with user requirements.
  • Connect Tableau to various data sources including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure clean, structured, and optimized datasets.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and translate them into effective visual solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage and self-service capabilities.
  • Monitor and improve dashboard performance through efficient data modelling and visualization techniques.
  • Implement best practices for data security, governance, and version control.
  • Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and processes.
  • Contribute to BI standards and reusable components across the organization.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Strongexperience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard UX, and data storytelling.
  • Experience integrating Tableau with cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data warehouses.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Tableau certifications (eg, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
  • Experience with Python, R, or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
