UX Content Designer

Job Title: UX Content Designer
Location: Manchester
Salary/Rate: £300 per day inside IR35
Start Date: September 2025
Job Type: 4-month Initial contract

Company Introduction:
My client within financial services is urgently seeking a UX Content Writer to join in an initial 4 month contract. This is a hybrid contract position based in Manchester.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Design and write clear, concise, and accessible content for on-boarding forms and account opening journeys.
• Collaborate with UX and UI designers to align content with interaction design and visual hierarchy.
• Create and maintain content patterns and guidelines that support consistency across journeys.
• Translate complex regulatory or operational requirements into user-friendly content.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience as a UX Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating content design for digital forms, on-boarding flows, or transactional journeys.
• Familiarity with content design principles and accessibility standards.
• Comfortable using design tools (eg Figma, Sketch) and content management systems.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of Co-Op or similar design systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Experian, PCCA or Hopewiser for address validation and personalisation.
