Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Verification & Validation Engineer with extensive experience in RF systems to join a dynamic team focused on satellite communications technology. This role will involve validating complex RF payload systems, ensuring their performance, functionality, and reliability across a range of hardware platforms, including ASICs, DSPs, and FPGAs.

Key Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Perform functional validation and RF testing for satellite payload systems on hardware testbenches.
• Design, develop, and execute test procedures to validate firmware and flight software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between software and hardware, ensuring seamless performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test specifications and document results clearly.
• Ensure compliance with safety-critical software standards and contribute to process improvements in testing and validation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in RF testing and firmware validation across hardware platforms such as ASICs, DSPs, and FPGAs.
• Strong experience in software-hardware integration and debugging.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test specifications and validation plans.
• Familiarity with safety-critical software standards (eg, MISRA, DO-178C).
• Experience using configuration management tools such as Git, Jira, and DOORS.
• Proficient in working within Linux environments and navigating the software development life cycle.
• Knowledge of CCSDS standards and tools like Eclipse or Java would be advantageous.
