Job Title: VisionPLUS Developer
Location: Sheffield - Onsite 3 days/week
Salary/Rate: £425 per day (PAYE via umbrella - Inside IR35)
Start Date:01/09/2025
Job Type: Contract (until December 2025)

We are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading organisation in the financial services sector. They are seeking an experienced VisionPLUS Developer to join their team on a long-term project.

• Work on the development and maintenance of VisionPLUS modules to meet business requirements.
• Design, build, and implement solutions for medium-to-high complexity problems within credit card and payments systems.
• Provide hands-on coding expertise using Cobol and CICS.
• Manage and support Mainframe-based applications, including batch scheduling and version control activities.
• Collaborate effectively in an Agile/DevOps environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience in banking IT applications, particularly credit card processing.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of VisionPLUS, with expertise in at least one module (eg, CMS, FAS, TRAMS, LTS, ASM, VMX, WINGSFM).
• Proficiency in Cobol and CICS.
• Experience with Mainframe tools such as Endevor and Changeman, as well as batch scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
