About the RoleWe’re not looking for someone to just “do SEO.”
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of client growth.
As an SEO Account Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, driving performance, leading strategy, and building strong relationships that retain and grow accounts over time.
You will work across a mix of productised SEO through our Growth Hub tiers and more bespoke campaigns, giving you a balance of structure and strategic freedom.
What You’ll Be Doing- Managing and growing a portfolio of SEO client accounts
- Leading client communication, including calls, reporting, and strategy discussions
- Building and executing SEO strategies that drive real business results
- Identifying opportunities to retain and expand accounts
- Delivering clear, actionable insights rather than just data
You will work alongside content writers and developers, while also remaining hands-on where needed. This is not a purely delegated role.
What Success Looks Like- Strong client retention and satisfaction
- Measurable growth in traffic, leads, and revenue
- Confidence in leading client conversations
- Ability to identify upsell opportunities and contribute to account growth
- Proven experience managing SEO accounts, ideally within an agency
- Comfortable owning multiple clients and priorities
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of SEO as a growth channel
- Confident communicator who can lead conversations and challenge clients when needed
- Highly organised, efficient, and proactive
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience using tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs preferred
- Solid understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and on-page optimisation
