Senior Systems Engineer – relocate to live and work in Bermuda!

Our client is a long-established IT services provider delivering managed services, infrastructure, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions to businesses across Bermuda. They support a wide range of client environments and are known for providing reliable, high-quality technical expertise across both modern cloud platforms and core networking infrastructure.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Bermuda-based team. This is a hands-on role supporting diverse client environments across networking, infrastructure, cloud, and Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain client IT environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
  • Manage networking across client environments, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Deploy and support Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and technical improvements
  • Act as a senior escalation point for the service desk, troubleshooting complex technical issues across networking, systems, and cloud platforms
  • Participate in an on-call rotation

We Are Looking For:

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background working within an MSP or multi-client environment, particularly in a client-facing capacity. Candidates should be comfortable managing and supporting multiple customer environments across a broad technical stack.

Strong networking and troubleshooting capabilities across multi-site client environments will be highly valued.

Relevant industry certifications will be highly valued, including:

  • Microsoft certifications related to Azure, Microsoft 365, or other Microsoft technologies
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certifications
  • Additional certifications in areas such as Fortinet, VMware, Veeam, or Security would be considered an advantage

Relocation & Compensation:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Preference will be given to candidates who are enthusiastic about relocating to Bermuda and well positioned to make an international move.

A competitive USD-based compensation package is offered, along with work permit application, relocation assistance, health insurance, pension, and additional employee benefits. Bermuda is a low-tax jurisdiction, with effective employee payroll tax typically in the ~6–9% range depending on income level.
