Business Administrator Apprentice

Job summary

We are offering this role as an apprenticeship to attract candidates who seek an opportunity to gain new skills and experience working on an administrative role in the NHS within the Human Resources division. On successful completion of the programme the apprentice will achieve a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification.

Main duties of the job

To provide 1st Line Support to all users of the e-Rostering system and dealing with cases raised via the teams Help Desk.

To work with other members of the e-Rostering team to assist in the management of the electronic rostering system used within the Trust.

To provide assistance and advice to new and existing users of the system.

To ensure the smooth running of the e-Rostering department transactional processes, by following internal SOPs for data validation and accuracy, ensuring that data is consistent across all e-Rostering systems and ESR.

Produce and distribute regular e-Rostering reports to users and managers across the Trust.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience of working with digital systems

  • Experience of working on a helpdesk
  • Experience of working within a complex NHS organisation
