Migration Engineer

We are currently searching for two candidates for a potential VMware to Nutanix Migration Project. This role has a requirement to be on site Monday-Thursday near Newcastle Under-Lyme.

About the Role

This role involves working on a critical migration project, ensuring a smooth transition from VMware to Nutanix.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute the migration.
• Provide technical support during the migration process.
• Document the migration process and create reports.
• Ensure minimal downtime during the transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications in VMware and Nutanix.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of VMware and Nutanix environments.
• Experience with migration projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages.
