Overview

The E2E OSS Netcool Solution Architect will play a critical role in defining and implementing advanced OSS architecture solutions to support service assurance, automation, and network management initiatives. This position demands a seasoned professional with deep expertise in IBM Netcool and a comprehensive understanding of the OSS domain, ensuring seamless integration, high system availability, and industry-aligned best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver end-to-end OSS architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and interoperability.
  • Provide solution leadership in the design and implementation of Netcool platforms, including OMNIbus, Impact, NOI, Agile Service Manager, and Precision.
  • Oversee the integration of OSS domains such as Service Fulfilment, Assurance, Automation, Cloud Telco, Network Management, and COTS products.
  • Drive architecture governance and standardization, aligning regional OSS stacks into a harmonized global landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration gaps and develop optimized design patterns.
  • Ensure proactsive service assurance through effective monitoring, event correlation, and incident management frameworks.
  • Introduce industry best practices and proven reference architectures to enhance OSS modernization efforts.
  • Support mentorship and capability building, guiding internal architects and designers to develop long-term sustainability.
  • Mitigate architectural risks by identifying potential design flaws, integration challenges, or scalability issues early in the lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Specialized and hands-on expertise in Netcool architecture (OMNIbus, Impact, NOI, Agile Service Manager, Precision).
  • Deep cross-domain knowledge of OSS areas: Service Fulfilment, Assurance, Automation, Cloud Telco, and Network Management.
  • Experience in automation platforms such as PEGA, Blue Prism, Resolve, and UiPath.
  • Proven experience implementing OSS modernization in global telecom environments.
  • Strong understanding of COTS product integration and cloud-native OSS architecture principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead architecture governance and enforce best practices across multi-domain teams.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Netcool, OSS architecture, or cloud technologies are preferred.
