Director of Group Sales

Staffscanner is looking for an experienced Group Sales Director to lead new business growth across our core platform and a range of emerging technology and service solutions within the wider group.

This is a senior, hands-on commercial leadership role for someone who thrives on winning business, building senior relationships, and creating commercial momentum in growth-stage environments.

We are not looking for a strategy-only sales leader. We want someone who is highly credible in the market, comfortable leading from the front, and motivated by opening doors, developing opportunities, and converting high-value deals.

The Role

As Group Sales Director, you will take ownership of new business generation across the group, helping shape both immediate revenue growth and the future direction of the commercial function.

Initially, the focus will be heavily weighted toward personally driving sales activity — building pipeline, leading strategic conversations, negotiating opportunities, and securing new client wins. Over time, you will also play a key role in developing a more scalable, structured, and high-performing sales function.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across Staffscanner and wider group solutions

• Personally lead outbound sales activity, discovery meetings, proposals, negotiation, and deal conversion

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across target sectors

• Win new logo clients and create commercial traction across the group portfolio

• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across private healthcare, care, and related sectors

• Bring greater sales structure, forecasting discipline, and pipeline visibility to the business

• Refine commercial messaging, proposition positioning, and sales processes

• Work closely with the Group Managing Director and leadership team on strategic growth priorities

• Support the future development and scaling of the commercial function

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record in senior sales leadership and new business development

• Experience winning complex deals within healthcare, care, technology, or service-led sectors

• Strong personal sales capability with the ability to generate and convert opportunities directly

• Comfortable operating within a founder-led or growth-stage business

• Commercial credibility with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

• Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting discipline

• Ability to combine hands-on sales delivery with strategic leadership input

Desirable Experience

• Existing network within private healthcare, care, or related markets

• Experience selling software, workforce solutions, operational services, or technology-enabled services

• Experience helping build or scale a commercial function

• Background in consultative or complex sales environments
