Summary
Stage is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to help develop our platform (Salt) that processes music metadata and royalty information at scale. The software you build will help ensure that tracks are correctly matched and credited across major digital platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube, and within catalog workflows used by global music companies including Universal Music.
If you’re excited about building real products and experimenting with new technologies like AI, we want to hear from you. You’ll learn quickly in a fast-moving environment and help ensure music creators get what they deserve. Your work will contribute to real product features that improve how royalties are tracked, verified, and distributed across the industry.
About Salt
https://www.salt.music
The music industry relies on data. When that data is missing or messy, royalties become slow, inaccurate, or sometimes never paid. Creators lose out, businesses waste time chasing information, and payment systems break down.
Salt is fixing this.
We build resilient, cloud-native technology that ensures metadata is captured, connected, and processed correctly from the moment music is created. Our goal is simple:
Make music payments faster, fairer, and more transparent for everyone in the industry.
