Operations Apprentice

Role
- Work within one of the RS&AM COO teams (such as Operations, Business Management, Technology, Client Services or Compliance), building skills over the two‐year programme
- Support day‐to‐day operational processes that help ensure investments are delivered accurately, responsibly and on time
- Assist with tasks such as checking data, tracking information, maintaining records and following agreed processes and controls
- Learn how different teams across Asset Management work together and contribute to the wider business
- Take part in shorter ‘Gigs’ across the COO function to gain exposure to different areas and broaden your experience
- Use a range of systems, tools and documents to complete work accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with colleagues, attend team meetings and learn from experienced professionals
- Complete apprenticeship learning and projects alongside your role, with dedicated study time each week
Training
- Your training will combine practical experience in your role at Standard Life with supported study time to complete your apprenticeship
- You’ll receive full details of how this will work before the programme starts
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent role within Retirement Solutions & Asset Management or wider Standard Life operations
- Career paths could include operational, business management, technology, data or compliance roles, depending on performance, interests and business needs
