GCP Security Engineer - Hedge Fund - Unmatched Remuneration

My client is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to help design, implement, and operate security controls across our cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is hands-on and technical, focused on automation, identity management, and maintaining a strong security posture at scale.

Key Requirements

• Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP); exposure to AWS and Azure is a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience using Terraform to automate and enforce cloud infrastructure and security guardrails.
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python (primary) and Bash for automation, tooling, and security workflows.
• Security Controls: Design, implement, and manage security controls across deployed cloud systems.
• Security Posture Management: Continuously assess cloud infrastructure, perform security reviews, and improve overall security posture.
• Identity & Access Management: Deep hands-on expertise in IAM, including organizational policies, security controls, and workload identity in GCP.
