- Drive automation and standardisation using Python and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Improve performance, reliability, and observability across petabyte-scale environments.
- Plan and execute storage modernisation and migration initiatives.
- Act as a senior technical leader, setting best practices and mentoring engineers - yet remaining fully hands-on.
What You Bring:
- Deep experience with modern distributed storage technologies in large hybrid (on-prem & public cloud) environments.
- Strong Linux systems engineering background with a compute-first mindset.
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure using Python and configuration tools.
- Experience operating and monitoring complex, distributed systems at scale.
- Clear communication skills and comfort leading technical direction.
Why This Role
- Influence the design of a newly built global storage platform.
- Work on complex, high-performance infrastructure used by researchers and traders.
- Collaborate with expert engineering teams across compute and platform domains.
- Join a firm where engineering quality and long-term thinking are core values.
