Role Overview

  • Operate as an L3 escalation point for difficult or recurring issues
  • Lead and deliver technical projects end-to-end (recent examples: Windows 11 rollout, SCCM → Intune migration)
  • Act as the Intune SME, managing the environment, policies, upgrades, and optimisation
  • Deep-dive investigation of recurring incidents, driving problem management and permanent fixes
  • Suggest and drive improvements across tooling, automation, workflows, and overall service quality
  • Provide on-floor support to trading staff, including Bloomberg terminals and business-critical users
  • Manage relationships with external vendors
  • Mentor and upskill L1/L2 engineers

Required Experience

  • Strong background working at an L3 level (minimum 5+ years in desktop/EUC support, ideally progressed through L1/L2)
  • Demonstrable experience leading technical projects and working within an ITIL environment
  • Advanced Intune knowledge – policy creation, optimisation, upgrades, environment management
  • Trading floor support experience, including Bloomberg
  • Solid Azure AD administration experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, especially with recurring incidents and root-cause investigation
  • Good understanding of basic networking principles
  • Excellent communication, user-centric mindset, strong initiative, ability to work autonomously, vendor management skills, and ITIL understanding
  • Beneficial: PowerShell for automation, experience mentoring junior staff
