Senior JVM Software Engineer - Greenfield Exchange Build Out

Company: My client are one of the worlds most renowned low latency exchange providers. They are extremely well known for its ultra low latency (approx 85 microseconds), event-driven systems which have been utilised by almost every major trading firm, bank and fund you can think of.

Their core product has brought great success for many years, and now they embark on a new journey as finance begins to be tokenised through the use of blockchain technologies.

Project: They are now embarking on an entirely new, AWS native initiative operating as a start up within the firm. You will have ownership of projects in this group from inception to production, with the freedom to use opensource technologies to make sending, trading and accessing assets in real-time achievable.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in any JVM language (ideally Core Java)
• Kafka Streaming
• Kubernetes
• Cloud (AWS)
• TDD, Pair Programming, Agile Engineering
• STEM degree
• Worked in a Start Up / Scale Up Environment
• Strong Architectural Influence
