Senior Software Engineer

Location: London / 4 days onsite per week

About:

We are hiring a Senior C# Engineer on behalf of a boutique multi-strategy hedge fund to join a team responsible for overhauling the firm’s market data platform. The team is undertaking a multi-year initiative to build a unified data platform, including a new cloud-native data warehouse and lakehouse architecture, built from the ground up.

As the most senior engineer within a small team of 7–8, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and act as a subject matter expert, designing and developing key components of these new systems. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture and direction of the firm’s data warehouse and lakehouse platform.

Prior market data experience is not required. We are looking for a strong C# engineer with experience working with Bloomberg BPIPE or SAPI, who is excited to help build a modern data platform in a high-performance investment environment.

Requirements:

• Strong C# development experience.
• Hands-on experience with real-time market data systems (Bloomberg/BPIPE preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Ability to work in a small, collaborative team while influencing architecture and processes.
