A FinTech powerhouse is looking for JVM Engineers to join a brand-new startup spin out, and be a key member in building the next generation of a large-scale greenfield platform in the FinTech world.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established engineering team responsible for designing and developing highly scalable, cloud-native applications that will underpin a range of innovative consumer banking products and services.

The business operates within a highly technology-driven environment where engineering is viewed as a core strategic function. Significant investment is being made into brand new infrastructure, greenfield development and driving innovation across digital banking products. Engineers are empowered to contribute ideas, challenge existing approaches, and help define the long-term technical vision of the platform. The technology is truly bleeding-edge, including the likes Java 25, Kotlin, AWS, Kubernetes and everyone has full access to Claude 4.3.

This is an unbelievably highly funded initiative, where they’re looking for engineers to influence technical direction from day one - from architecture and strategy through to development, deployment and testing.

Required:

• 5+ years of Java or Kotlin development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong Computer Science, Engineering (or a related subject) background.
• Cloud-Native engineering experience.
• Able to work in a modern software engineering environment, using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI/CD.
