Python Software Engineer, Systematic Trading Firm, London

We are looking for talented Software Developers and Engineers to join a systematic trading firm in London. We are looking for people that have experience building world class suites of applications on top of some of the most powerful infrastructure in Finance.

This team is at the forefront of innovation, using some of the most modern technologies and cloud offerings to create scalable, production-grade tools and services and full-stack web applications. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging, high-impact projects that directly support the firm’s investment goals.

Role:

• • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, gather requirements, and deliver well-engineered solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems in Python as well as robust frontend applications in React.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the products you develop — from design and implementation through to support and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to new initiatives that leverage cloud-native technologies, large-scale data processing, and machine learning workflows.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally working on full-stack applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and web development.
  • Experience with relational databases and document stores.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine curiosity for learning new technologies and frameworks.
