Hybrid role: 2 to 3 days working onsite

Day rate: £550- £600 outside IR35

Role Overview

We are working with business who is currently going through a big technology transformation. The client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join in as an interim and support large-scale change initiatives, working across business and technology teams to design end-to-end processes and define clear, high-quality requirements. The role requires strong experience working on complex programmes and collaborating with outsourced delivery partners to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements definition activities for large and complex programmes.
  • Design, document, and optimise end-to-end business processes.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Work closely with outsourced delivery partners and internal technology teams.
  • Assess the impact of proposed solutions on business processes, systems, and data.
  • Support solution design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Maintain clear and structured documentation, including process maps and requirements specifications.
  • Ensure requirements align with business objectives and delivery constraints.
  • Identify risks and issues and support mitigation planning.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large or complex programmes.
  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, definition, and management.
  • Experience designing and documenting business processes end to end.
  • Experience working with outsourced or third-party delivery partners.
  • Working knowledge of cloud and delivery platforms such as Azure and DevOps tools.
  • Proficiency in process modelling and documentation tools such as Visio .
  • Experience with enterprise or industry-specific applications (e.g. ERP or finance systems); experience with COINS or similar systems is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate, and board-level project documentation and steering packs.
  • High attention to detail, with a structured and disciplined approach to planning and delivery.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget ownership, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Solid understanding of project governance, reporting, and control frameworks.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
