Day rate: £500- £550 per day outside IR35
Primarily remote, with occasional travel to Central London
Stanton House has partnered with a consultancy business supporting a major financial services client on a regulatory compliance and assurance transformation programme.
We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to support the current discovery and assessment phase of the programme. This role will focus on understanding and assessing the data landscape, identifying data sources, evaluating data quality, documenting data lineage, and helping shape requirements for future implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery and assessment of current-state data, technology, regulatory and operational landscapes.
- Map critical data sources, flows, quality and dependencies required to support automated compliance processes.
- Identify barriers to data access, including technical, commercial, and operational challenges.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and develop future-state data solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and engage with SMEs to understand current processes and data dependencies.
- Provide consultative recommendations and support the definition of future-state solutions, operating models and implementation approaches.
Required Experience:
- Strong financial services regulatory and compliance expertise, with a solid understanding of how regulators operate.
- Experience working on regulatory transformation, assurance, risk or compliance programmes within financial services.
- Data discovery and assessment experience, including data mapping, lineage, quality and suitability analysis.
- Consulting background with excellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills.
- Strong AI literacy, including familiarity with leading AI models and the application of AI within regulated environments.
- Energetic, engaging and commercially-minded individual who can influence stakeholders and thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving programmes.
