As Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Finance team in a high-visibility role, partnering closely with senior leadership to shape strategy and drive performance. Finance sits at the heart of the organisation - providing insight, challenge and direction to enable informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

πŸ” What you will be doing

Strategic Leadership

β€’ Act as the lead finance partner for key departments and programmes

β€’ Partner with senior leadership to shape strategy and commercial decisions

β€’ Provide clear insight, analysis and constructive challenge

β€’ Align planning, management accounting and capital teams

β€’ Champion strategic priorities across finance, driving engagement and delivery

Governance & Performance

β€’ Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles

β€’ Ensure compliance with government finance standards and regulatory requirements

β€’ Maintain strong financial governance, controls and risk management

β€’ Drive continuous improvement across reporting, analysis and insight

β€’ Build robust systems and data to support future decision-making

Stakeholder & External Engagement

β€’ Act as a trusted Finance partner to senior leadership

β€’ Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including funders and partners

β€’ Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and performance insight

β€’ Collaborate cross-functionally to support a unified, organisation-wide approach

β€’ Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

β€’ Proven experience in commercial finance / business partnering roles

β€’ Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders

β€’ Experience delivering budgets, forecasts and long-range plans

β€’ Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability

β€’ Commercially minded with the ability to turn insight into action

β€’ Strong communication and presentation skills

β€’ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment
