Role Overview

Stanton House are working with A Manufacturing Business who are looking for a Project Manager / Business Process Manager to support a major business transformation programme. This is a business-facing role, focused on delivery from the organisation side rather than as a purely IT-led project.

The programme will span multiple workstreams, engage a large and diverse stakeholder group across locations, and run over a multi-year period. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating delivery, ensuring alignment, and driving progress across complex and interdependent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage business-side programme delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment across a broad and diverse user base
  • Lead and support change management activities to ensure successful adoption
  • Maintain oversight of risks, issues, and action tracking, ensuring timely resolution
  • Deliver effective communication and reporting across all levels of the business
  • Support requirements gathering, documentation, and validation
  • Facilitate process mapping and design activities
  • Collaborate with system integrators (SI) to define business requirements for build
  • Assist in testing coordination and execution
  • Support waterfall delivery processes from requirements through to implementation
  • Provide additional functional analyst-style support where required

Programme Scope

The transformation programme currently includes two primary workstreams:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting (Greenfield)

  • Designing and implementing new processes from the ground up
  • Driving simplification and standardisation
  • Coordinating closely with other workstreams
  • Navigating complex stakeholder environments and internal dynamics

2. Reporting

  • Delivering structured, data-driven reporting solutions
  • Leveraging outputs from ERP transformation calculations
  • Working within a more rule-based, data-centric environment

Team Structure

  • Reporting into and working closely with the business leadership team
  • Partnering with the Head of FP&A and wider programme leadership
  • Supporting a blended team of:
  • Backfilled business SMEs
  • Project-focused contributors
  • Change and testing specialists
  • Additional functional analyst support may also form part of the wider team

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Business Project Manager within complex programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and delivery actions
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, multi-stream environment
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability
  • Experience with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) projects
  • Exposure to finance, ERP, or transformation programmes
  • Background in business process design and improvement
  • Experience performing functional analyst responsibilities
