This is a high-profile role requiring someone who can confidently operate across executive, business and technology stakeholders whilst bringing structure, insight and delivery rigour to complex programmes.

The successful candidate will oversee multiple interconnected initiatives, ensuring risks are managed proactively, governance remains effective and delivery outcomes stay aligned to strategic objectives.

The Role:

Reporting into senior transformation leadership, you will lead the planning and delivery of large-scale technology and change programmes, working closely with stakeholders across business, technology and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide programme leadership across multiple strategic technology and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, roadmaps and delivery milestones.
  • Identify, manage and communicate critical dependencies across workstreams and teams.
  • Establish effective governance, reporting frameworks and programme controls.
  • Monitor programme health, delivery progress, risks, issues and budget performance.
  • Support senior sponsors and steering committees with clear, actionable programme insights.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and facilitate effective decision-making across business and technology teams.
  • Ensure programme outcomes remain aligned to strategic objectives and expected benefits.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners where required.
  • Champion programme management best practice and continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering complex technology and business transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, technology change and organisational transformation.
  • Experience managing large budgets and multi-disciplinary delivery teams.

  • Strong governance, risk, dependency and stakeholder management capability.
  • Demonstrable success delivering programmes within complex organisational environments.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership teams, executive stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Experience using programme and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and MS Project.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong consulting-style stakeholder management and executive presence.
  • The ability to quickly build credibility across business and technology teams.
  • Sufficient technical understanding to challenge assumptions and identify delivery risks without being hands-on.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and programme leadership.
  • The ability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex organisational challenges.
  • A delivery-focused professional who balances challenge with collaboration.

What's on Offer?

  • The opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation programme.
  • Visibility and engagement with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • A complex and rewarding delivery environment.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
  • The chance to influence programme delivery standards and organisational transformation.
  • Long-term career development opportunities within a forward-thinking organisation.
