The role:
This is a prime opportunity for a technical specialist to secure a role at a high-quality, nurturing employer within one of the most buoyant parts of the UK economy. Applicants do not require all the experience below, as the team has the resources to train and fill knowledge gaps. However, previous Defined Benefit (DB) pensions experience is a must.
You will:
- Interpret and triage scheme benefit specifications
- Set up manual pension calculations
- Manipulate and interrogate large data sets
- Execute BPA data onboarding routines and calculations
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement in data assurance procedures
- Mentor junior analysts
What will I need?
- Good understanding of DB calculations and legislation
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with implementing spreadsheet-based calculations
- Able to process, manage, and query large data sets.
- Understanding of the testing lifecycle
- Financial-services background, and numerically literate
