Business Development Executive
Position Overview This role focuses on driving growth across the Toll Processing, Sales, and Storage areas of the business. Working closely with divisional managers, you ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and delivering a clear and competitive market proposition.
A key part of the role will involve shaping and implementing both digital and traditional marketing strategies to support commercial growth. You ll combine time in the office with regular field activity to stay close to customers and the market.
Reporting directly to the Sales Managers, you ll also work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to deliver on business development objectives.

Main Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new business opportunities within Toll Processing, Sales, and Storage services.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular visits and communication.
- Negotiate, structure, and close new contracts that align with company goals.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
- Participate in service review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and execute a marketing and communications plan that supports growth and brand visibility.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking functions.
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or business development role within a related industry.
- Proven ability to present and communicate a strong value proposition to a diverse client base.
- Skilled in consultative selling, understanding customer challenges and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Confident communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a focus on achieving targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
