About the Role We are seeking a visionary VP
- Global Data Strategy to lead and evolve our approach to sports data across media, betting, and professional sports ecosystems.

This leader will define how we capture, structure, distribute, and commercialize our global sports data assets to fuel innovative products, unlock new revenue opportunities, and deliver transformative experiences for fans, media partners, and sportsbooks worldwide.

This role requires a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of Product innovation, AI, and Commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate will know how to harness our data to shape and elevate the narrative of sport, while also driving predictive, real-time experiences that redefine fan engagement.

Responsibilities: Strategic Data Leadership Develop and own the company's global data strategy, spanning collection, enrichment, governance, distribution, and commercialization.

Align data initiatives with long-term business goals for media partners, sportsbooks, teams, and leagues.

Partner with Commercial, Engineering, and AI teams to define the roadmap for data-driven products and platforms.

Data Delivery & Integration Oversee the design and evolution of APIs, push feeds, and data delivery mechanisms that power customer products and services.

Translate technical delivery methods into customer value for media platforms, betting operators, and rights holders.

Ensure our data is structured for speed, reliability, and scalability, enabling seamless integration across media, betting, and professional team environments.

Innovation & Growth Champion the use of AI/ML and advanced analytics to turn raw data into predictive insights and fan-facing experiences.

Collaborate with partners to open up new market opportunities in media personalization, betting products, and interactive fan engagement.

Customer Insight & Engagement Actively engage with customers and partners to deeply understand their pain points, motivations, and desires.

Translate customer and user insights to guide Product, Marketing, and Commercial strategy Commercial Alignment Translate the data strategy into measurable business impact across all verticals.

Develop frameworks to price, package, and scale data-driven products across global markets.

Support executive leadership in partnerships and global rights negotiations.

Team Leadership Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional data delivery and strategy team.

Collaborate with team members in Operations, Engineering, AI, and Commercial functions to embed data-first thinking across the company.

Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in data strategy, Product, or analytics leadership, ideally within sports, betting, media, or adjacent industries.

Deep understanding of sports data ecosystems, including collection methods, rights structures, and commercial models.

Proven track record of using data to drive business growth, product innovation, and customer engagement.

Strong knowledge of AI/ML applications and emerging technologies for data capture and enrichment.

Experience managing and developing teams of Product Managers and cross-functional leaders to scale and optimize execution and delivery.

Exceptional ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

Experience working with senior executives, rights holders, and global partners.

Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data strategy into clear business impact.
