Atlassian Technical EngineerSector: Public SectorDuration: 6 months (Extension possible)Location: Telford (2 days/month in office)Rate: £455/day (Inside IR35)Clearance: BPSS + SC eligible required UK NationalRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to configure, maintain and optimise Atlassian tooling, ensuring the platform meets organisational needs at scale.Key Responsibilities:Deliver hands-on Jira and Confluence upgrades, migrations and consolidationsPerform technical assessments and health checks across Atlassian instancesAdminister Bitbucket and Bamboo alongside core Jira/Confluence productsConfigure Jira Service Management queues, SLAs and automationSupport integration between Jira and other applications via APIs/scriptingConfigure and manage CI/CD automation tooling for upgrades and testingRequirements:35+ years' experience in Atlassian solution delivery/Application EngineeringAtlassian technical migration accreditation/certificationsCertified xkybehq in administration of Jira and ConfluenceStrong API and scripting knowledgeUnderstanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps/CI/CD and ITILDesirable: experience configuring workflows, custom fields and reporting dashboards with customersExcellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
