Observability Engineer (SC Eligible)Rate: £580/day Inside IR35Duration: 6 monthsLocation: Mostly remote (Telford occasional onsite - 2 days/month)Clearance: SC EligibleRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade monitoring and observability solutions across complex technology environments. The role focuses on improving service visibility, performance insight, and proactive incident detection.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end-to-end observability solutions across enterprise platformsTranslate NFRs and monitoring requirements into Dynatrace configurationsDeliver APM, log analytics, synthetic monitoring, and infrastructure observabilityBuild and maintain dashboards, alerts, and performance visualisationsIntegrate observability into architecture, development, and delivery processesSupport proactive incident management and service reliability improvementsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and delivery teams across technical and non-technical groupsDrive continuous improvement in monitoring maturity across teamsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong background in SRE principles and methodologiesHands-on experience with Dynatrace (mandatory)Strong understanding of APM tooling and enterprise observabilityExperience with logs, metrics, synthetics, and distributed system monitoringAbility to analyse and resolve complex technical issuesStrong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsExperience working in complex, enterprise-scale environmentsDesirableDynatrace Associate CertificationExperience working in immature or evolving observability environmentsExposure to large-scale transformation or cloud-native systemsIf this matches your skills and experience, please apply today!TPBN1_UKTJ
