Data Engineer

Data Engineer (SAS/Oracle/Unix) - SC Cleared

Rate: £469 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Mostly remote - Telford or Worthing (occasional onsite workshops, typically a couple of days per month)
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support live services, incident resolution, and project development within a data-focused environment.

The successful candidate will support production/live service activities including resolving incidents, troubleshooting problems, and contributing to ongoing project delivery.

Essential Skills:

• SAS Studio
• SAS Essentials

• Unix
• Oracle SQL
• Oracle PL/SQL

Desirable Skills:

• SAS Viya 4
• SAS 9.4
• Informatica
• GitLab
• Vault
• Talend
• AWS knowledge/experience

Additional Requirements:

• Hybrid working model with occasional travel to either Telford or Worthing for workshops (typically 2 days per month)
• Candidates must hold active SC Clearance
• Current SC transfer timescales can take 8 weeks from application submission, with an estimated 11 weeks total including BPSS completion.
