Infrastructure Engineer - Active SC Clearance Required

£500 - £540 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote options available)
6-Month Contract | Start: June

We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to support a high-profile programme within a secure government environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on mission-critical systems alongside a skilled delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage and support secure cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Maintain and enhance scalable, resilient environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, engineering and security teams

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Solid background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong Linux/Windows system administration skills
• Understanding of networking, security and monitoring tooling

Essential

• Active SC Clearance (must be in place)
• Availability to start in June

Desirable

• Experience working in UK public sector/GDS environments
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile delivery
