Job Description
Our client, a UK public sector organisation, is undertaking a major transformation of its data services. As part of this programme, Semarchy has been selected as the tool of choice for mastering data across current and new systems. We are seeking skilled Semarchy engineers to work alongside architecture colleagues and service teams to help inform data strategy and deliver the Semarchy platform.
Role Purpose
Design, develop, configure, and support Semarchy xDM solutions to enable Master Data Management (MDM), data ingestion, workflow automation, validation, governance, and integration with enterprise systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating scalable and secure Semarchy solutions that support business processes, data quality controls, workflow-driven approvals, and bidirectional data exchange across multiple platforms.
Essential Technical Skills
Semarchy xDM
- Strong experience designing and developing Semarchy xDM applications
Creation and maintenance of:
- Data modelling for reference and master data type domains
- Concept of Golden Records
- Reference data & master data
- Hierarchies
- Match & merge, survivorship rules
- Workflow management, issue resolution
- Data management principles (data quality, enrichment, validation)
- Experience with data certification processes
- Knowledge of data stewardship and governance processes, including the distinction between Data Stewards and Data Custodians
