Lead Software Developer - Node.js/AWS - Remote - Public Sector

Rate: £565/day inside IR35
Location: Remote

IR35 Status: Inside IR35 - PAYE via Umbrella company only
Clearance: BPSS (this role requires additional vetting - onboarding may take longer than standard; please get in touch with any queries)
Duration: 6 Month Contract (extension possible)

We're looking for a Lead Software Developer to join a public sector development team, working on new features, upgrades and patches within an established Agile setup. You'll take part in regular ceremonies (stand-up, retro), lead on code reviews, and provide ad hoc support and guidance to other developers.

Must have:

• Node.js
• Unit testing
• Ability to translate UCD (User-Centred Design) output into implementation plans

Should have:

• Experience with the Hapi framework

Desirable:

• Experience with MS Dynamics and/or Jest
• Familiarity with Dynamics or OData queries
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/Elasticache exposure a bonus, not essential)
• General SQL knowledge (direct PostgreSQL experience not required)

Environment: AWS cloud architecture
