Scala Developer (x5) - Public Sector
Location: (Remote - Occasional visits)
Rate: Competitive
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: 20th July

We are currently seeking 5 experienced Scala Developers to join a high-profile public sector programme, working on the delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a critical transformation project, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala
• Build and optimise high-performance, scalable systems
• Work collaboratively within agile delivery teams
• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices
• Ensure code quality through testing and reviews

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Scala
• Experience building distributed systems/microservices architectures
• Exposure to event-driven architecture or messaging systems (eg, Kafka)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) - desirable
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Additional Information:

• Public sector experience is advantageous but not essential
• Must be available to start on or around 20th July
• Multiple positions available
