User Researcher - Active SC Required
We're looking for an urgent User Researcher with active SC clearance to support a high-profile UK government digital programme.

- Rate: £550 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)

The role You'll lead accessibility-focused user research across digital and non-digital touchpoints, ensuring services meet the Service Standard and support users with access needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing existing user research to identify accessibility gaps and service risks
- Mapping user touchpoints across channels, with a focus on accessibility and assisted digital support
- Identifying and analysing user journeys, highlighting gaps impacting users with access needs
- Defining and running user research methods prioritising accessibility
- Creating and delivering a user research plan aligned to accessibility standards
- Designing and conducting research with users with disabilities, including those affected by cognitive load
- Researching accessibility across digital and non-digital services
- Embedding research insight by working closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the research life cycle
What we're looking for
- Strong public sector user research experience
- Proven expertise in accessibility-led research (WCAG, inclusive design)
- Experience working with users with disabilities and complex access needs
- Ability to engage and influence multidisciplinary teams
- Active SC clearance
