Interaction Designer (Jnr-Mid + Snr Consultant - SC Eligible)
My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Transformation & NextGen AI Solutions, with over 20 office across the UK and offering a hybrid working policy of 2 days onsite/3 days remote + ad hoc client site travel when required.
We're are looking for multiple Jnr-Mid & Snr level Interaction Designers to join a rapidly growing team, your work will span various projects within the UK Government, requiring a strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Jnr-Mid level budget (must possess a minimum of 4 years Interaction/UX Design experience): £55000 + full benefits + hybrid working
Snr level budget (must possess a minimum of 6 years Interaction/UX Design experience): £70000 + full benefits + hybrid working
Primary skills and experience required:
- Must be Eligible for SC Clearance
- Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, using GDS design principles would be preferred
- Grounding in user-centred design, from concept to final delivery
- Knowledge of which tools, process, or methods to use and how to bring an agile delivery team along with you
- Ability to engage with development teams and architects to ensure data and technical considerations are accommodated within the design
- Evidence of working with user centred design colleagues to synthesise insights and act on the outcomes
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders to get their input and buy-in
- Experience using a range of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision, etc. and the ability to quickly learn new design tools as required.
- Ability to build prototypes using code to create dynamic prototypes using HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript and any experience working with GOV.UK prototyping toolkit would be highly advantageous.
- Consultancy and/or Government experience is preferred, but is not a must-have requirement.
