Interaction Designer
- Salary £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
- Hybrid setting going into the office 2x a week, over 20 office locations in the UK including major cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Inverness, Bath, Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Treforest and more
- Candidates must be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
- Candidates must have 5 years of residency in the UK
We’re looking for an Interaction Designer to help create user-focused digital services across a range of public and private sector projects. You’ll work within multidisciplinary teams to design simple, accessible, and effective user experiences in an agile environment.
The Role
- Design user journeys, flows, and interfaces based on user needs
- Turn research insights into clear, practical design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and concepts to test and iterate ideas
- Collaborate closely with researchers, developers, and stakeholders
- Ensure designs are accessible, inclusive, and easy to use
- Present and explain design decisions with supporting evidence
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong background in user-centred design from discovery through to delivery
- Experience working in agile teams on digital products or services
- Ability to work with developers and understand technical constraints
- Confident engaging with stakeholders and gaining buy-in
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Understanding of accessibility and good digital design principles
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have:
- Experience working on government or regulated services
- Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
