Salary & Experience Levels

We are currently hiring for two Senior Full Stack Engineer positions:

Senior Full Stack Engineer

• £55,000–£65,000
• £5,000 car allowance
• 10% annual bonus
• Typically suited to candidates with 3–5+ years of software engineering experience

Lead Senior Full Stack Engineer

• £65,000–£85,000
• £5,000 car allowance
• 10% annual bonus
• Typically suited to experienced senior engineers with strong technical leadership and mentoring experience

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy scalable, high-quality software solutions
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs
• Work directly with stakeholders to deliver solutions from concept through production
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Lead through hands-on engineering excellence
• Collaborate across multiple teams and disciplines

For the Lead Senior position, additional responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership across projects and delivery teams
• Mentoring and supporting engineers at different stages of their careers
• Driving engineering best practices and technical standards
• Influencing architectural direction and technology decisions

These positions remain strongly hands-on and are not primarily people-management roles.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Proven experience delivering full-stack applications
• Experience designing systems and solutions independently
• Strong understanding of software architecture and maintainable code
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)

Highly Desirable

• Experience working as a polyglot engineer across multiple technology stacks
• Strong experience with modern strongly typed languages such as:
• Java
• C#
• Go
• Rust
• C++
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Interest in or exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models, or AI-powered applications
• Active GitHub profile demonstrating coding activity
• Personal projects, side projects, open-source contributions, or technical portfolio work

Leadership Experience (Lead Senior Role)

• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical development
• Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on
• Experience guiding architectural and engineering decisions
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Working Arrangements

Recruitment Process

1. Initial recruiter conversation
2. Online assessment (approximately 35 minutes, completed remotely)
3. Technical interview with the hiring manager
4. Live coding session with a senior engineer

All interviews are conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams.
